I've gone back to Neopets for fun just recently and I realised they had this Neopets Premium function which they offered a 15-day trial for - so I decided to give it a try.

Within 3 days, I was bored of Neopets again and I tried to cancel the Premium subscription, which they would charge me $12.99 USD if I didn't manage to terminate the subscription in time.

For 12 days, I tried to contact them through e-mail to no avail. I think I would have sent up to 30 e-mails, none of which received a reply. Their "live chat" service" was also pretty messed up for me considering North America is practically on the other side of the world. I had to stay up to 1am today so that I could terminate my account without wasting more money on this crappy service.

I don't really think the Premium was really worth it considering the benefits are limited, and the support you get is apparently as limited as the benefits they provide.

Neopets is actually pretty fun when you need a break from work, but I find that it gets boring really quickly due to lack of novelty since you basically play games after games trying to get NeoPoints.

People have told me "Dude why are you playing Neopets? You're such a sissy."

Neopets is a family-friendly game for all ages, and playing Call Of Duty 4 doesn't make you much more masculine just because you carry a pixel gun and fire at pixel enemies. Both of those are games that can provide entertainment and that's all there is to it.
